The works are located airside, between T2A, T1 and T2B. The construction methodology is expected to consist of the removal of the top concrete, diversion and removal of services, execution of diaphragm walls, installation of ground anchors and excavation (volume will be approximately 320,000m3), followed by a bottom up sequence of construction of the \u2018box&#8217; and its final backfill. Among others, potential ground conditions and contamination; reduced site for material handling, lifting and storing; and vehicles&#8217; access and egress are the main challenges the team will face.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"block-quote \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10 block-quote__body\">\n            <blockquote class=\"block-quote__text\" aria-label=\"\">\n                I am excited that we have now launched the challenging Kilo Substructure project.
