El consorcio participado por Ferrovial Agroman se ha adjudicado el contrato de construcci\u00f3n de la estaci\u00f3n de metro de Farringdon, en Londres, por m\u00e1s de 200 millones de libras, equivalentes a m\u00e1s de 230 millones de euros. Este es el tercer proyecto que el Consorcio se adjudica dentro del programa Crossrail, y sit\u00faa la cartera de Ferrovial Agroman en Reino Unido en m\u00e1s de 1.000 millones de euros.<\/em><\/p>\n

Crossrail, filial de Transport for London, ha adjudicado al consorcio constituido por Ferrovial Agroman<\/a>, BAM Nuttall y Kier Construction (BFK) – participado a partes iguales por cada compa\u00f1\u00eda -, el contrato de construcci\u00f3n de la nueva estaci\u00f3n de metro de Farringdon por una cuant\u00eda superior a los 200 millones de libras, equivalentes a m\u00e1s de 230 millones de euros. El proyecto comprende la construcci\u00f3n del edificio, los accesos y las cavernas de la estaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Este es el tercer contrato que el consorcio participado por Ferrovial Agroman se adjudica dentro del programa Crossrail. En diciembre de 2010, se adjudic\u00f3 otros dos proyectos: la construcci\u00f3n de dos t\u00faneles que, partiendo de Royal Oak, unir\u00e1n las estaciones de Paddington y Farringdon; y la realizaci\u00f3n de los accesos y cavernas de las estaciones de Bond Street y Tottenham Court Road, en el centro de Londres.<\/p>\n

\u0093Este contrato eleva la cartera de Ferrovial Agroman en Reino Unido e Irlanda a m\u00e1s de 1.000 millones de euros. Asimismo, refuerza nuestro papel como actor principal en el sector de la construcci\u00f3n dentro de un mercado tan competitivo como el brit\u00e1nico, ya que participamos de manera activa en el desarrollo de la red de transporte de Londres\u0094, ha explicado Alejandro de la Joya, Consejero Delegado de Ferrovial Agroman.<\/p>\n

Cuando se inaugure, Farringdon se convertir\u00e1 en una de las estaciones con mayor tr\u00e1fico de pasajeros de Reino Unido. Los viajeros tardar\u00e1n 3 minutos en llegar a Tottenham Court Road, 7 minutos a Paddington y 31 minutos a Heathrow. Asimismo, la estaci\u00f3n proporcionar\u00e1 conexi\u00f3n directa con los aeropuertos de Heathrow, Gatwick y Luton.<\/p>\n

Crossrail, 118 kil\u00f3metros de infraestructuras<\/strong><\/p>\n

Esta nueva adjudicaci\u00f3n convierte a este Consorcio en el que mayor volumen de negocio gestiona dentro de Crossrail, programa que incrementar\u00e1 la capacidad de transporte ferroviario de Londres un 10%, a trav\u00e9s de la construcci\u00f3n de 118 kil\u00f3metros de infraestructuras que conectar\u00e1n el oeste de Londres, desde Maidenhead, uniendo a su paso Heathrow, con Shenfield y Abbey Wood, en el este. Ferrovial Agroman alcanz\u00f3 en los primeros nueve meses de 2011 unas ventas de 3.143 millones de euros, y un Resultado Bruto de Explotaci\u00f3n de 171 millones de euros. La cartera ascendi\u00f3 a los 9.921 millones de euros, correspondiendo 6.727 millones de euros al \u00e1rea internacional. En este periodo, la aportaci\u00f3n de las ventas internacionales alcanz\u00f3 el 57% y se situ\u00f3 en los 1.790 millones.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n
