Nobody doubts that a regulatory system put together in the 1980s must be modernised and we take heart from the consensus that has emerged during the consultation process around the need for continuous improvement of customer service, the facilitation of sustained investment in airport infrastructure and environmental responsibility. These three themes must underpin any new regulatory framework, if the needs of passengers today and in the future are to be met.<\/p>\n<p>BAAs response to the DfT is available in the Regulation
