From major highway corridors and water facilities to energy development and transmission, these investments are crucial to helping power the state\u2019s continued success.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Keeping Texas moving<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Reliable transportation infrastructure has become more important than ever, and Ferrovial has played a key role in delivering some of the state\u2019s most transformative mobility projects.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In North Texas, the TEXpress Lanes network of managed lanes\u2014North Tarrant Express, North Tarrant Express 35W and LBJ Express\u2014helps reduce congestion and improve reliability along some of the region\u2019s busiest highways. By expanding capacity and offering drivers more predictable travel options, these projects support the continued growth of\u00a0the\u00a0Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and\u00a0help connect residents to jobs, businesses, and essential services.\u00a0Building on the success of the North Tarrant Express, Ferrovial is continuing to invest in capacity improvements that will further ease congestion and improve mobility along the\u00a0corridor,\u00a0at no cost to taxpayers.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In San Antonio, the\u00a0$1.5 billion\u00a0I-35 Northeast Expansion project is modernizing a section of I-35, one of the nation\u2019s busiest freight corridors and a critical trade route that connects Texas communities and supports economic activity across the central United States. The project includes major improvements along I-35, Loop 1604, and I-410, adding new lanes, reconstructing interchanges, and improving traffic flow throughout the region. Once complete, the project will enhance safety and mobility for commuters, freight operators, and the growing communities that rely on this critical corridor every day.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In the Houston region, the SH 99 Grand Parkway has expanded connectivity across one of the fastest-growing areas in the state. Ferrovial helped deliver more than 50 miles of new highway infrastructure, including new toll lanes managed by TxDOT, bridge reconstruction, and corridor improvements that strengthen connections between major employment centers and residential communities. The project also improved regional mobility and provides an important evacuation route during severe weather events.\u00a0\u00a0Building on this\u00a0work, Ferrovial was <a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en-us\/press-releases\/ferrovial-awarded-sh-99-grand-parkway-construction-project-in-texas-valued-at-1-5-billion\/\">recently awarded<\/a> the SH 99 Grand Parkway Segment B1 project, a\u00a0$1.5 billion\u00a0investment that will further expand mobility and connectivity across the Houston region.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Together, these transformative roadway projects\u00a0demonstrate\u00a0how strategic infrastructure investments can improve safety, mobility, and quality of life for millions of Texans.\u00a0<\/span> <span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Supporting growing communities<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Beyond transportation, Texas\u2019 rapid growth is placing unprecedented demands on water infrastructure. Texas 2036 estimates the state will need at least\u00a0$154 billion\u00a0in water infrastructure investments in the coming decades and still faces a projected\u00a0$112 billion\u00a0funding gap, highlighting the importance of strategic investments that strengthen resilience and ensure reliable water resources for future generations. With its U.S. headquarters in Austin for more than two decades, Ferrovial has been part of Texas\u2019 growth story and is helping meet these challenges through major water infrastructure projects, including the\u00a0CapEx\u00a0Water Pump Station and the Walnut Branch Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and Geronimo Creek WWTP.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In Austin, Ferrovial is constructing the\u00a0CapEx\u00a0Pump Station as part of the I-35 Capital Express Project. The 105-foot-deep facility will include four pumps capable of moving up to\u00a0260,000 gallons\u00a0of water per minute, helping manage stormwater and reduce flood risks.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In Seguin, Ferrovial is delivering one of the largest water infrastructure construction projects in Texas through the Walnut Branch WWTP and Geronimo Creek WWTP. The $178 million project includes deconstructing and decommissioning the Walnut Branch WWTP while expanding the Geronimo Creek WWTP to treat an average daily flow of\u00a012 million gallons. Once complete, the expanded facility will allow the city to treat wastewater within its own city limits for years to come, supporting continued population growth while strengthening the region\u2019s long-term water infrastructure.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">By investing in resilient water infrastructure, Texas is preparing for existing and future demand while ensuring essential resources\u00a0remain\u00a0available for generations to come.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Powering\u00a0reliable energy<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Texas has long been a global leader in the energy industry, and growing demand from expanding industries, data centers, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence is placing new pressures on the state\u2019s power infrastructure. As renewable energy becomes an increasingly important part of Texas\u2019 energy mix, Ferrovial is\u00a0contributing to the state\u2019s evolving energy landscape with large-scale solar projects in Milam and Leon County.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In Leon County, Ferrovial is constructing and\u00a0operating\u00a0a 257\u00a0MWdc\u00a0solar photovoltaic facility capable of serving more than 36,000 homes.
