The project, located in North Houston, is worth about $70 million.<\/p>\n<p>The contract includes widening FM 1960, a principal arterial road, from four to six lanes, with a total project length of 2.84 miles. It also includes construction of a four-lane main lane overpass bridge over West Lake Houston Parkway. The project limits run from east of Twigsworth Lane to West of the San Jacinto Bridge and includes about 170,000\u00a0 square yards of concrete pavement, 165,000 square feet of bridge deck and 2.59 million pounds of steel tub girders.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"block-quote \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10 block-quote__body\">\n            <blockquote class=\"block-quote__text\" aria-label=\"\">\n                \u201cHouston is Webber\u2019s hometown and we are excited to help alleviate traffic congestion while better connecting the North Houston area.\u201d             <\/blockquote>\n\n            <footer class=\"block-quote__footer\">\n                                    <p class=\"block-quote__author\" aria-label=\"\">\n                        <span class=\"block-quote__author-name\">Josh Goyne<\/span>\n                    <\/p>\n                                    <p class=\"block-quote__author-role\" aria-label=\"\">\n                        President of Webber\u2019s Heavy Civil Division                    <\/p>\n                            <\/footer>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"wysiwyg text-editor \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n            <p>The project will begin in February 2021 with substantial completion in late 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The expansion and rehabilitation of FM 1960 is the latest projected awarded contract to Ferrovial\u2019s American subsidiary, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wwebber.com\">Webber<\/a>.
