First, $7,046 of the funds was awarded to three teachers in three different elementary schools. This funding will impact\u00a0<strong>1,500 students<\/strong>.\u00a0The three innovative teaching grants will go to STEM projects that can also be implemented in future years, meaning that the number of students impacted will increase with each academic school year.<\/p>\n<p>Teachers who were selected as 2018 grant recipients were surprised during this year\u2019s\u00a0<strong>Northwest Education Foundation Grant Brigade<\/strong>,\u00a0as NTEMPS3 was invited to help present these grant checks to the teachers and their individual elementary schools. Each year, the foundation hosts this grant brigade to surprise teachers who have applied for a grant and have been selected.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"image-section \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n        <figure class=\"image-section__figure\">\n            <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.newsroom.ferrovial.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/15133818\/ntem-concede-becas.jpg\" title=\"NTEM Scholarships\" alt=\"NTEM Scholarships\" class=\"image-section__image\">\n                    <\/figure>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"wysiwyg text-editor \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n            <p>NTEMPS3 Innovative Teaching Grants for 2018 are the following:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Cox Elementary\u00a0School<\/strong>\u2013 Bee Bot Story Works \u2013\u00a0$1,531.92<\/li>\n<li><strong>Peterson Elementary School<\/strong>\u2013 For Those About to ROK! \u2013 $1,823.94<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prairie View Elementary School<\/strong>\u2013 Leader-VISION: It\u2019s a NEWStory \u2013 $3,689.66.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Second, the remaining funds were awarded as scholarships to graduating seniors who are pursuing a career in STEM or were a part of the STEM academy during high school.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Allie Frysinger<\/strong>,\u00a0Public Relations and Marketing for LBJ\/NTE\/NTE35W, represented NTE Mobility Partners Segments 3\u00a0on the NISD\u2019s scholarship committee and helped review over 160 scholarship applications. The committee determined the best candidates to receive scholarships including the five STEM scholarships that NTEMPS3 would award to five seniors.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"image-section \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n        <figure class=\"image-section__figure\">\n            <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n            <p><strong>Andrew Wallace<\/strong>,\u00a0General Counsel for LBJ\/NTE\/NTE35W, presented three seniors with their scholarship at the Legacy Awards Ceremony held at Northwest High School.\u00a0<strong>Ignacio del Pino<\/strong>,\u00a0Deputy CEO of LBJ\/NTE\/NTE35W, presented the NTE Mobility Partners: Engineering the Future Scholarship to two Bryon Nelson High School graduates.<\/p>\n<p>Below is a list of NTEMP scholarships awarded:<\/p>\n<p><strong>NTE Mobility Partners: Engineering the Future
