Adem\u00e1s, incluye la construcci\u00f3n de nuevos carriles en ambas direcciones de la IH 35 y de cerca de 122.000 metros cuadrados de tableros de puentes, as\u00ed como la instalaci\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de 500 toneladas de vigas de acero, entre otros trabajos.<\/p>\n<p>Est\u00e1 previsto que los trabajos, que comenzar\u00e1n a principios del pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o, finalicen en 2024.<\/p>\n<p>La obra aumentar\u00e1 la capacidad y mejorar\u00e1 la conectividad tanto de la IH 35 como de la carretera de circunvalaci\u00f3n\u00a0US 59, dos importantes ejes para el transporte internacional de mercanc\u00edas. El proyecto, adem\u00e1s de aumentar la capacidad exportadora de la zona con M\u00e9xico y Centroam\u00e9rica, generar\u00e1 oportunidades para la comunidad tanto de Laredo como para el conjunto del estado de Texas.<\/p>\n<p>Con este contrato, la filial de Ferrovial en Estados Unidos supera ya los 60 proyectos en ejecuci\u00f3n distribuidos entre distintos estados entre los que se encuentran Texas, Arkansas, Virginia y Georgia. Adem\u00e1s, refuerza la presencia de la compa\u00f1\u00eda en el pa\u00eds norteamericano, en el que recientemente ha sido elegido para reconstruir un tramo de unos 12 kil\u00f3metros de la autopista SL12 en Dallas por 301 millones de d\u00f3lares. Estados Unidos es el mercado m\u00e1s grande de Ferrovial por volumen de ventas y en \u00e9l ha construido infraestructuras vitales como la autopista LBJ en Dallas y segmentos de la SH 99 Grand
