Ferrovial, a trav\u00e9s de su filial Ferrovial Agroman<\/a>, ha alcanzado el cierre financiero del contrato para el dise\u00f1o, construcci\u00f3n y financiaci\u00f3n<\/strong> del proyecto de la I-285\/SR 400 en Atlanta, Georgia, con una inversi\u00f3n total prevista de 458 millones de d\u00f3lares (alrededor de 403 millones de euros). Este cierre se alcanza despu\u00e9s de que el Departamento de Transportes de Georgia<\/a> (GDOT) seleccionase, en diciembre de 2015, la oferta presentada por North Perimeter Contractors.<\/p>\n

Para cubrir la inversi\u00f3n, se ha firmado con Bank of America una financiaci\u00f3n bancaria exenta de impuestos para el financiador por un importe m\u00e1ximo de 458 millones de d\u00f3lares y un vencimiento hasta 2022. Es la primera vez que se utiliza este modelo de financiaci\u00f3n para un proyecto PPP de dise\u00f1o, construcci\u00f3n y financiaci\u00f3n en Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n

Reconstrucci\u00f3n de la autopista<\/strong><\/p>\n

El per\u00edodo para la reconstrucci\u00f3n<\/strong> de la infraestructura durar\u00e1 hasta 2020. Ferrovial Agroman, en colaboraci\u00f3n con las compa\u00f1\u00edas de ingenier\u00eda Louis Berger Group<\/a> y Neel Schaffer<\/a>, ser\u00e1 responsable del dise\u00f1o y construcci\u00f3n de este proyecto. El dise\u00f1o comprende la construcci\u00f3n de nuevas rampas elevadas, carriles de distribuci\u00f3n<\/strong> y otros elementos que facilitan los recorridos de este a oeste en la I-285 y de norte a sur en la SR 400. Tambi\u00e9n incluyen la extensi\u00f3n del sistema de senderos PATH 400 dentro del mismo per\u00edmetro.<\/p>\n

La finalizaci\u00f3n del proyecto est\u00e1 prevista para el a\u00f1o 2020. En ese momento, el usuario habitual del corredor ahorrar\u00e1 unas 8 horas al a\u00f1o en los traslados y se reducir\u00e1n los retrasos en m\u00e1s de 20.000 horas diarias por las mejoras del
