Ferrovial, a leading global infrastructure company, today announced Steve Townsend has joined its Highways division, Cintra, as Vice President of Commercial Development in the U.S., reporting to Cintra\u2019s global Director of Business Development Alberto Gonzalez. In his new role, Townsend will build upon Cintra\u2019s existing relationships and identify strategic opportunities to expand the company\u2019s highway portfolio in the U.S.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

His expertise will reinforce our leadership in delivering innovative transportation projects through public-private partnerships, and his public sector insights will strengthen our relationships with clients and partners,\u201d said Alberto Gonzalez, Director of Business Development for Cintra, a Ferrovial company.<\/span>\u202f\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Townsend brings extensive transportation experience, most recently serving as Chief of Staff to the Deputy Governor and Commissioner of Transportation for the state of Tennessee. In that role, he executed a multiple-department effort to implement the Governor\u2019s vision for Tennessee infrastructure investments and guided the Department of Transportation\u2019s organizational operations and improvements necessary to fulfill its mission. This included overseeing a statewide effort to deliver essential infrastructure to communities and meet local needs through public-private partnerships.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\n
