Webber is dedicated to building a lasting presence in Georgia and becoming part of the local community. We are excited to get this opportunity to improve traffic flow and drive economic growth in Bibb County.\u201d            <\/blockquote>\n\n            <footer class=\"block-quote__footer\">\n                                    <p class=\"block-quote__author\" aria-label=\"\">\n                        <span class=\"block-quote__author-name\">Jose Carlos Esteban<\/span>\n                    <\/p>\n                                    <p class=\"block-quote__author-role\" aria-label=\"\">\n                        President &amp; CEO of Webber                    <\/p>\n                            <\/footer>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"wysiwyg text-editor \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n            <p>The I-16\/I-75 Project will improve the safety of the corridor by widening and reconstructing 4.588 miles on I-16\/404 East and West Bound beginning at I-75\/SR 401 and extending to Walnut Creek\u00a0within the City of Macon. The project will include work on 21 bridges in the area and a complete reconstruction of the I-16\/I-75 interchanges. This will improve the interstate highways by constructing wider shoulders, concrete barriers and, in most locations, additional lanes. Webber opened an office in Atlanta in 2019 and employs about 100 employees in Georgia, between its subcontractor work for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/en-us\/f-construction\/\"><u>Ferrovial Construction US<\/u><\/a> on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/en\/business\/projects\/i-285-sr400-corridor-improvements-atlanta-georgia\/\"><u>Transform 285\/400 project in Atlanta<\/u><\/a> and Webber\u2019s first hard-bid win in Georgia in 2020 on the <a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/local-news\/webber-awarded-first-hard-bid-project-in-atlanta\/\"><u>I-75\/SR 401 improvement project in Clayton and Henry Counties<\/u><\/a>. United has been building projects in Georgia for decades and is currently working on several GDOT projects including US 1 over the Altamaha River in Toombs County and US 221 over I-20 in Columbia
