Catherine David, General Counsel and Secretary of Ferrovial Construction US Corp., has been selected as a\u00a0Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America<\/a>, an honorary society with membership limited to 1,200 practicing fellows from the United States and internationally.<\/em><\/p>\n

David<\/a> has been with Ferrovial Construction<\/a> since 2012 and is responsible for overseeing the North American legal department. Her nearly 20 years of experience includes legal assistance for the procurement of and contract negotiation for billion-dollar design-build projects with clients along with all of the legal issues associated with those projects from project inception through final completion.<\/p>\n

David holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Juris Doctor degree from St. Mary\u2019s University School of Law.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am honored to have been chosen for this Fellowship. I look forward to the opportunity to work with other Fellows as the voice of the construction law community,\u201d said David.<\/p>\n

The CLSA is an invitation-only international honorary association composed of preeminent lawyers specializing in construction law and related fields. Fellowship is limited and selective, with lawyers being invited into Fellowship upon a proven record of excellence and accomplishment in construction law at both the trial and appellate levels. Lawyers nominated or selected may be in any discipline in the construction law arena, including contract specialization, negotiations, litigation, arbitration, appellate and\/or surety law, but who have in addition superior ethical reputations.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n
