This project was tendered by the Junta de Andaluc\u00eda\u2019s Directorate- General for Infrastructure and Water Management.<\/p>\n<p>The project consists of building and commissioning a newly implemented treatment plant next to the existing plant, \u00a0which must remain in operation until the new one starts up. Furthermore, the quality of treated water permitted by the current EDAR must be ensured as a minimum at all times. For this new plant to go into operation, <strong>minimal occupancy of the additional space available<\/strong> had to be taken into account.<\/p>\n<p>The plant will have the capacity to treat an average of 15,000 m3\/day, and it will have biological treatment for activated sludge in Prolonged Aeration Mode, along with nitrogen and phosphorus removal, seeking the greatest <strong>operational and<\/strong> <strong>functional flexibility<\/strong> possible and ensuring compliance with the <strong>requirements on water quality.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This means that Cadagua is adding a new contract in Spain. Along with Ferrovial Construction, it expects two new offers in the short term for two projects from the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, which will be of a lesser amount. These are the <strong>&#8220;SANITATION AND PURIFICATION PROJECTS IN VILLAGONZALO AND TORREMEJ\u00cdA (BADAJOZ),&#8221;<\/strong> for approximately \u20ac3 million each.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n
