The project, whose contractor is<span class=\"ms-rteThemeForeColor-5-0\">\u00a0Budimex,<\/span>\u00a0is the largest investment of PepsiCo in Poland. It is very significant for the development of the Polish economy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"ms-rteFontSize-3\">At the opening of the construction site were present, among others,\u00a0Prime Minister,\u00a0Mateusz Morawiecki,\u00a0President of PepsiCo Europe, Silviu Popovici,\u00a0Mayor of \u015aroda \u015al\u0105ska,\u00a0Adam Ruci\u0144ski,\u00a0President of Legnicka Specjalna Strefa Ekonomiczna S.A.,\u00a0Przemys\u0142aw Bo\u017cek,\u00a0President of the Management Board of Budimex S.A.,\u00a0Artur Popko, and\u00a0Managing Director of ARUP,\u00a0El\u017cbieta Cicho\u0144ska.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"ms-rteFontSize-3\">In the implementation of the investment,\u00a0<span class=\"ms-rteThemeForeColor-5-0\">Budimex<\/span>\u00a0is\u00a0responsible for the construction of the plant along with internal installations,\u00a0including electromechanical works and land development as well as technical infrastructure. The value of the investment exceeds PLN 350 million. The contract will be executed in stages in the years 2021\u20132025.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"ms-rteFontSize-3\">The area of the building plot is 30 ha and the construction area is 54,700 m2. The building will have the\u00a0highest ecological parameters.\u00a0It will be the world&#8217;s first PepsiCo plant whose design solutions will aim at the\u00a0<span class=\"ms-rteThemeForeColor-5-0\">reduction of its carbon footprint at the construction stage<\/span>. The plant will be equipped with advanced and the most efficient production lines with the lowest energy, water and gas consumption per 1 kg of production. The building will also be equipped with a water and process heat recovery system with heat conversion for cooling and heating.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"ms-rteFontSize-3\">With environmental protection in min<span class=\"ms-rteThemeForeColor-2-0\">d,\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"ms-rteThemeForeColor-2-0\">a photovoltaic system will be installed<\/span><span class=\"ms-rteThemeForeColor-2-0\">\u00a0<\/span>on the office building, as well as a high-performance sewage treatment plant and charging points for electric cars.\u00a0<span class=\"ms-rteThemeForeColor-5-0\">The plant will be climate-neutral.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","nivel-2":[],"nivel-5":[],"nivel-1":[896],"nivel-3":[],"nivel-4":[],"class_list":["post-103544","local_new","type-local_new","status-publish","hentry","nivel-1-construction"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<title>Start of construction of PepsiCo plant in Poland -
