{"id":103578,"date":"2021-09-22T12:39:34","date_gmt":"2021-09-22T10:39:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/?post_type=local_new&#038;p=103578"},"modified":"2024-12-13T22:20:13","modified_gmt":"2024-12-13T21:20:13","slug":"cintra-committed-to-the-local-i-66-community","status":"publish","type":"local_new","link":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/local-news\/cintra-committed-to-the-local-i-66-community\/","title":{"rendered":"Cintra committed to the local I-66 community"},"content":{"rendered":"    <section class=\"wysiwyg text-editor \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n            <div>As part of the CSR plan for the I-66 highway project, which it reviews annually,\u00a0<strong>Cintra<\/strong>\u00a0has carried out two initiatives aimed at contributing to the well-being of the area&#8217;s residents.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>On the one hand, it has sponsored the\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Starlight Cinema&#8221;\u00a0<\/strong>event of the Fairfax County Parks Foundation and, on the other, it supports the\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Collect for Kids&#8221;\u00a0<\/strong>program of the Foundation for Fairfax County Public Schools.<\/div>\n<div>For the third consecutive year, Cintra sponsored the Fairfax County Parks Foundation&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Starlight Cinema<\/strong>\u00a0event. This film-on-wheels festival offers area residents in the vicinity of the Route 28 interchange a series of films that combine the infrastructure improvement project with the drive-in movie experience.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The second initiative that Cintra has supported is the Fairfax County Public Schools Foundation&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Collect for Kids&#8221;\u00a0<\/strong>program, which provided school supplies to 100 children at their back-to-school event on August 23. The kits were distributed to the three elementary schools in the I-66 catchment area.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>These two initiatives reinforce the I-66 project&#8217;s commitment to the community in which it operates.
