With an increase in traffic volume predicted for the area, the scope of work will include the widening of I-95 to a total of eight travel lanes, the replacement of several bridges and overpasses and upgrading any necessary drainage culverts along the project.<\/p>\n<p>Construction for the project will start in late Summer 2022 and is estimated to be finished by the end of 2026.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"block-quote \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10 block-quote__body\">\n            <blockquote class=\"block-quote__text\" aria-label=\"\">\n                \u201cThe eight-mile project is intended to improve safety, reduce congestion and make the infrastructure more resilient against future flooding.
