This project is a testament to Ferrovial\u2019s ongoing commitment to investing in America\u2019s infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are grateful to provide infrastructure solutions to one of the state\u2019s fastest-growing regions,\u201d said Jose Carlos Esteban, CEO of Webber, a subsidiary of Ferrovial. \u201cThis project reinforces our leading position in the waterworks industry in Texas and continued commitment to support our communities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The project has an anticipated value of approximately <strong>$200 million<\/strong>. Once completed, the Wilbarger Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant will be able to treat up to six million gallons per day to accommodate Pflugerville\u2019s growth and service needs.<\/p>\n<p>The scope of work includes the construction of all the operations and maintenance buildings and the installation of equipment and technology for every stage of treatment. Construction is expected to start this summer and to be completed in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>PLW Waterworks, a joint venture between Ferrovial subsidiaries Webber and Cadagua, specializes in water purification, treatment, reuse and desalination systems using design-bid-build, as well as alternative delivery methods to help protect the environment and bring fresh water to millions of Americans every day. The company <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/press_releases\/water-projects-texas\/\">announced earlier this year<\/a> <\/strong>it had been awarded two water contracts, also in Texas.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n
