The operation includes dredging and manufacturing of concrete sand materials onsite, with the goal of selling half a million tons per year.<\/p>\n<p>James Walker will serve as the Manager of Sand Mining Operations with approximately six to eight employees working onsite. Fully prepped by the crews, the custom-built dredge arrived onsite in April and was ready to start harvesting sand by mid-May.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"block-quote \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10 block-quote__body\">\n            <blockquote class=\"block-quote__text\" aria-label=\"\">\n                This is a big investment in the sand mining business and will allow SCC to be in the sand manufacturing business in the foreseeable future            <\/blockquote>\n\n            <footer class=\"block-quote__footer\">\n                            <\/footer>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"block-quote \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10 block-quote__body\">\n            <blockquote class=\"block-quote__text\" aria-label=\"\">\n                Borings on the property showed sand depths of 45-70 feet across the 130-acre lot with the possibility of mining an additional 500 acres in the future            <\/blockquote>\n\n            <footer class=\"block-quote__footer\">\n                                    <p
