{"id":98160,"date":"2020-07-10T11:51:21","date_gmt":"2020-07-10T09:51:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/?post_type=local_new&#038;p=98160"},"modified":"2022-12-20T18:15:56","modified_gmt":"2022-12-20T17:15:56","slug":"ditecpesa-designs-new-solution-to-increase-adherence","status":"publish","type":"local_new","link":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/local-news\/ditecpesa-designs-new-solution-to-increase-adherence\/","title":{"rendered":"DIT-GLUE: Ditecpesa designs a new solution to increase adherence between road surface layers"},"content":{"rendered":"    <section class=\"wysiwyg text-editor \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n            <ul>\n<li>The new product is <strong>DIT-GLUE<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The solution has been tested in A-2 highway, Madrid-Barcelona, with <strong>outstanding results<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cIt has been developed through innovative processes, taking into account existing needs in highway construction,\u201d comments Jos\u00e9 Javier Garc\u00eda Pardenilla, Managing Director of Ditecpesa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/en\/ditecpesa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ditecpesa<\/a> has launched <strong>DIT-GLUE<\/strong> to the market, a new product designed for asphalt emulsion coating which provides up to twice binding power for pavements.<\/p>\n<p>This is a concentrate with nano-materials which, once diluted in water and lime (Ca(OH)2), generates a stable suspension that enhances bonding between layers when applied on asphalt emulsions and also prevents the adhesion of the tack coat applied in our road projects on vehicle wheels, thus impairing their efficiency.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DIT-GLUE<\/strong>\u00a0is a white watery concentrated solution that is mixed with water and hydrated lime to obtain a homogeneous suspension in order to spread it on the tack coats applied between pavement layers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ditecpesa<\/strong> has already launched this product in the market, and it has been used in A-2 highway, Madrid-Barcelona, with <strong>outstanding results<\/strong>, providing up to twice binding power for road surface layers.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"block-quote \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10 block-quote__body\">\n            <blockquote class=\"block-quote__text\" aria-label=\"\">\n                For Ditecpesa this product is another innovation towards road surface performance enhancement, and goes beyond conventional assays.
