These awards recognized companies with the best leadership, transparency and commitment to the environment, which are key performance indicators in the area of \u200b\u200bsustainability.<\/p>\n<p>In order to establish the annual classification of companies, the awards take into account the listing of each company in two prestigious sustainability indices related to ESG factors (environmental, social and corporate governance): the CDP A-List, and the CSA, (Corporate Sustainability Assessment), which are now part of the S&amp;P Global ESG.<\/p>\n<p>Ferrovial appeared on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdp.net\/en\/companies\/companies-scores\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">CDP A list<\/a> in 2020 after obtaining the highest score for its initiatives to combat and mitigate climate change, as well as on the CSA of S&amp;P Global, which listed the company in its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spglobal.com\/esg\/csa\/yearbook\/files\/spglobal_sustainability-yearbook-2021.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Sustainability Year Book 2021<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>SEAL Awards<\/h2>\n<p>The SEAL Awards seek to promote the protection and research of the environment through campaigns focusing on environmental impacts. They are also responsible for ranking the most sustainable companies in the world that are included in CDP&#8217;s A List and S&amp;P Global&#8217;s CSA.<\/p>\n<h2>Commitment to sustainability<\/h2>\n<p>This new recognition reinforces the company&#8217;s commitment to the environment and its <strong>sustainability strategy<\/strong>. Below is Ferrovial\u2019s list of awards in the field of sustainability for 2020:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nineteenth consecutive year in the prestigious <a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/news\/ferrovial-dow-jones-sustainability-index\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Dow Jones Sustainability Index<\/a> for its environmental performance.<\/li>\n<li>Recognized by AENOR as the first company to <a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/news\/ferrovial-the-first-company-to-have-its-sdg-centered-strategy-certified-by-aenor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">certify its climate strategy according to the Sustainable Development Goals<\/a> (SGD\u2019s).<\/li>\n<li>17 years in the <a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/news\/ferrovial-celebrates-17-years-in-a-row-on-the-ftse4good-sustainability-index\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">FTSE4Good sustainability index<\/a> for its actions on the ESG pillars<\/li>\n<li>Most sustainable company <a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/news\/ferrovial-most-sustainable-company-at-the-world-finance-sustainability-awards-2020\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">in the
