With more than thirty years\u2019 experience in the aviation sector, Cox will lead this new business area that will focus on the development of vertiport networks for the take-off, landing, operation, and maintenance of passenger services of electrical jet aircraft.<\/p>\n<p>Cox has served in executive leadership positions at some of the largest and most complex organizations, including one of the busiest airports in the world\u2014DFW International Airport; the world\u2019s largest Airline\u2014American Airlines; Signature Aviation an FBO Network, and EPIC Aviation.<\/p>\n<p>Cox has served in executive leadership positions at some of the largest and most complex organizations, including one of the busiest airports in the world\u2014DFW International Airport; one of the world\u2019s largest Airline\u2014American Airlines; Signature Aviation and FBO Network.<\/p>\n<p>He received his B.A in Accounting from Oklahoma State University and is Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Kevin&#8217;s brings a wealth of experience and in-depth knowledge of one of the most competitive aviation markets. \u00a0He will be instrumental in our ambitions to be a leader in providing high speed, affordable, emissions-free travel to millions of people, now, and it the future. for this visionary company.\u00a0 The ability to quickly and seamlessly travel to and from a Ferrovial Vertiport in an electric aircraft will forever change the urban transportation, and the Ferrovial team is on the forefront of this transformation\u201d said Kevin Cox, CEO of Ferrovial Vertiports.<\/p>\n<p>Vertiports\u00a0are essential infrastructure for landing, recharging, and taking off with passengers of all-electric, vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) jet aircraft. \u00a0These intermodal centers, which are integrated into the city and adapted to the surroundingenvironment, reduce noise impact, allow zero operating emissions and improve energy efficiency through innovative design.<\/p>\n<p>The company has already announced that it will develop a network of more than ten vertiports across state of Florida, in the United States \u00a0and a network of twenty-five vertiports across the United Kingdom.\u00a0 It is currently studying other markets in the United States and around the globe which will likely benefit from a more sustainable and efficient mode of urban transportation.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n
