New York, NY (May 10, 2022) – The Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA)<\/a> has officially announced the winners of its 28th edition in which Ferrovial’s podcast, Sounds Like Infrastructure<\/em><\/a>, was recognized as the winner in two categories of excellence in Branded Poscast Series<\/em> <\/strong>and Storytelling Podcast<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

With over 4,000 entries received from across the US and around the world, \u2018The Communicator Awards\u2019<\/a> is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals. Winners who have received the competition\u2019s highest honor, the Award of Excellence, include Forbes, The Walt Disney Company, Mattel, State Farm, Philips, T-Mobile, Yes& Agency, PepsiCo and Groove Jones, among others.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a new Managing Director of AIVA<\/a>, I was thrilled to be greeted by such a high level of creativity amongst the submissions for the 28th season of The Communicator Awards\u2019, said AIVA\u2019s Managing Director Lauren Angeloni. \u201cI want to congratulate all of the honorees for their well-deserved wins. About Ferrovial’s podcast, Sounds Like Infrastructure<\/em><\/h2>\n

The podcast Sounds Like Infrastructure<\/em> has been recognized by other awards including the W3 Awards 2021<\/a> with the silver award, finalist in the Content Marketing Awards 2021<\/a> organized by the Content Marketing Institute and an honorable mention in the ‘Podcast’ category for the PR Daily’s Digital Marketing and Social Media Awards 2022.<\/p>\n

Ferrovial’s podcast was launched in mid-2020 and includes episodes with both a narrative and interview format. It is available in two languages, in English as \u201cSounds Like Infrastructure\u201d<\/a> and in Spanish as \u201cSonidos de infraestructuras\u201d.<\/a> Each channel features exclusive episodes where Ferrovial employees and external collaborators tell the secrets and curiosities behind some of the biggest and most iconic infrastructure projects around the world, including company projects like the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao or the LBJ Express Highway in Texas.<\/p>\n

The Communicator Awards is the leading international creative awards program honoring creative excellence for marketing and communications professionals. Founded nearly three decades ago, The Communicator Awards is an annual competition honoring the best in advertising, corporate communications, public relations and identity work for print, video, interactive and audio. The 28th Annual Communicator Awards received over 4,000 entries from ad agencies, digital agencies, production firms, in-house creative professionals, graphic designers, design firms, and public relations firms.<\/p>\n

The Communicator Awards are judged and overseen by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA).
