The Association of Communication Managers, Dircom<\/a>,<\/strong> has chosen Ferrovial\u2019s podcast \u201cSounds Like Infrastructure\u201d <\/a><\/strong>as the winner of the Audio Strategy and\/or Podcast Development category.<\/em> The company beat out fellow finalists Mapfre\u2019s \u201cLa Bolsa de Deporte\u201d (Gym Bag) and Seat S.A.\u2019s \u201cThe Impulse\u201d & \u201cMoving Forward\u201d for the award.<\/p>\n

With more than 170 nominations<\/strong> received from all over Spain, the Ram\u00f3n del Corral Dircom Awards highlight best practices in internal communication, crisis communication, and brand and purpose communication, among other issues and categories.<\/p>\n

Ferrovial\u2019s podcast program launched in mid-2020, and it\u2019s based on the narrative trend<\/strong>. It is available in two languages: in English as \u201cSounds Like Infrastructure\u201d<\/strong> and in Spanish as \u201cSonidos de infraestructuras.\u201d<\/strong><\/a> Each version has exclusive episodes. In the episodes, employees and partners reveal secrets and fun facts behind the infrastructures the company carries out all over the world.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis fifth season once again highlights the value of communication when it comes to translating the purpose of organizations, conveying important values to society, such as solidarity or sustainability, or looking out for people,\u201d said Miguel L\u00f3pez Quesada, current president of Dircom.<\/p>\n

\u2018Sounds Like Infrastructure\u2019 has previously been recognized with other awards: it won at the 2022Communicator Awards, earned silver at the 2021 w3 Awards, was a finalist at the Content Marketing Institute\u2019s 2021 Content Marketing Awards, and the 2022 PR Daily\u2019s Digital Marketing and Social Media Awards awarded \u2018Sounds Like Infrastructure\u2019 honorable mention in the \u2018Podcast\u2018 category.<\/p>\n
