{"id":107371,"date":"2022-07-15T13:05:18","date_gmt":"2022-07-15T11:05:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/?post_type=new&#038;p=107371"},"modified":"2022-12-20T18:06:14","modified_gmt":"2022-12-20T17:06:14","slug":"cristina-cruz-director-of-data-and-architecture-at-ferrovial-participates-in-the-presentation-of-the-indesia-guide","status":"publish","type":"new","link":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/news\/cristina-cruz-director-of-data-and-architecture-at-ferrovial-participates-in-the-presentation-of-the-indesia-guide\/","title":{"rendered":"Cristina Cruz, Director of Data and Architecture at Ferrovial, participates in the presentation of the IndesIA guide"},"content":{"rendered":"    <section class=\"wysiwyg text-editor \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n            <div><strong>IndesIA<\/strong>, the association for the application of\u00a0<span class=\"ms-rteThemeForeColor-5-0\"><strong>Artificial Intelligence<\/strong><\/span> in industry, has presented its IndesIA Data &amp; IA Framework with the aim of facilitating and contributing to the Spanish industrial sector, being able to promote and implement a data culture and apply it in its activity and in business, thanks to successful\u00a0practices, practical application and methodologies based on the experience of companies of\u00a0the consortium.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>This event, which was opened by \u00a0IndesIA president\u00a0<strong>Valero Mar\u00edn<\/strong>, was attended by institutional representatives and associated companies:\u00a0<strong>Ferrovial<\/strong>, Repsol, Inditex, Gestamp, Navantia, Telef\u00f3nica, Microsoft, Airbus and T\u00e9cnicas Reunidas.<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>All of them have shared, at the headquarters of\u00a0<strong>Fundaci\u00f3n Telef\u00f3nica<\/strong>, their reflections on the role of Artificial Intelligence in the entire value chain of companies in the Spanish industry and on how it could totally change the approach to possible returns or results and achieve new ways of business,\u00a0<strong class=\"ms-rteThemeForeColor-5-0\">efficiency\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong class=\"ms-rteThemeForeColor-5-0\">sustainability<\/strong>.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The IndesIA\u00a0Guide has been created to<span class=\"ms-rteThemeForeColor-5-0\">\u00a0<\/span><strong class=\"ms-rteThemeForeColor-5-0\">help other companies<\/strong>\u00a0in the industrial sector to\u00a0<em>face the challenges of Artificial Intelligence\u00a0<\/em>with greater\u00a0<strong class=\"ms-rteThemeForeColor-5-0\">solvency<\/strong>, thanks to the experiences that have been shared within the same part of the companies which are part of this group. For each challenge, the guide offers\u00a0<strong class=\"ms-rteThemeForeColor-5-0\">solutions\u00a0<\/strong>based on proven real experiences and successful practices that can be useful for public institutions, startups, or other large companies in the sector.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Cristina Cruz<\/strong>, our Director of Data and Architecture, has been in charge of representing\u00a0<strong>Ferrovial\u00a0<\/strong>at one of the round tables, where she shared as \u00a0best practice our development of artificial intelligence algorithms linked to image processing and neural networks to improve transmission lines\u00a0explorations. &#8220;For this, a combination of drones flying autonomously with embedded artificial intelligence was provoked to be able to take images and videos in real time, being capable of detecting all the elements of a transmission line that could have a defect or deficiencies,&#8221; she added.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n        <\/div>\n
