With this addition to the team, Ferrovial Vertiports positions itself as one of the strongest teams in the industry, key for the success on leading the future of air mobility.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Teasdale will be responsible for planning all operational activities within the network of vertiports that the company is developing to support the <strong>introduction of zero-carbon urban<\/strong> and regional air mobility services.<\/p>\n<p>Teasdale has more than <strong>20 years of experience in aviation<\/strong> with leadership and operational roles in the Fixed-Based Operation (FBO) sector. For most of his career, he has worked at Signature Flight Support Corporation, where he was Operations Director and, previous to that, General Manager. More recently, <strong>he helped build a new FBO start-up<\/strong>, Propeller Aero Services, where he was responsible for establishing all aspects of the operations.<\/p>\n<p>Working with <strong>leading manufacturers and air service operators<\/strong>, Ferrovial Vertiports, backed by Ferrovial\u2019s 70 years of transportation infrastructure experience, is developing a series of agnostic vertiports networks in Europe and the United States. These infrastructures are essential to support all-electric, zero-carbon vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs our Vertiports business develops, we continue to strengthen its management team. With the solid support from <strong>Ferrovial in construction and airports<\/strong> management experience, I am sure Kevin Cox and his team are prepared to lead the <strong>development of sustainable infrastructures<\/strong> for the future of air mobility\u201d,\u201d says Luke Bugeja, CEO of Ferrovial Airports.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCraig brings a wealth of operational leadership experience to this new role. He will ensure our v<strong>ertiports consider all relevant operational requirements<\/strong> from the design stage. He will develop the protocols for how they will be run, with safety, sustainability, and convenience for passengers and operators top of mind,\u201d said Kevin Cox, CEO of Ferrovial Vertiports.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ferrovial\u2019s Vertiports<\/strong> will be intermodal centers integrated into the urban landscape that are adapted to the environment, reduce the acoustic impact, produce no emissions, and meet the <strong>highest energy efficiency<\/strong> standards through innovative design. In addition, they will be agnostic and adaptable to serve <strong>multiple eVTOL aircraft<\/strong> types and business models.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ferrovial<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>has been in the aviation sector since <strong>1998 and has more than 20 years of experience<\/strong> in the investment, development and operation of 33 airports around the world, including the United States, Australia and Chile. It currently has four airports in the United Kingdom. With a<strong> 25% stake in Heathrow Airpor<\/strong>t, it is its main shareholder and industrial partner, and owns 50% of <strong>Glasgow, Aberdeen and Southampton airports<\/strong>. In June 2022, it\u00a0acquired\u00a0a stake in the consortium appointed to design, build and operate the New Terminal One at New York&#8217;s John F. Kennedy International Airport in the United States.\u00a0Ferrovial Airport has also acquired <strong>60% of Dalaman International Airport in Turkey from the YDA Group.<\/strong><\/p>\n
