The U.S. Transportation Department<\/strong> today announced 12 new appointments<\/strong> to the Federal Aviation Administration\u00a0Advanced Aviation Advisory Committee (AAAC)<\/a>. The committee provides advice on key\u00a0drone<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Advanced Air Mobility<\/a>\u00a0issues.<\/p>\n

Members are executives and stakeholders<\/strong> who represent a variety of drone and AAM interests, including industry, research, academia, retail, technology and state and local government. In addition, for the first time, the AAAC will include members able to raise awareness of potential impacts to communities<\/strong>, and advise on approaches that advance emerging aviation models while respecting neighboring communities.<\/p>\n
