{"id":119385,"date":"2023-01-03T11:02:56","date_gmt":"2023-01-03T10:02:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/?post_type=new&#038;p=119385"},"modified":"2023-01-03T11:02:56","modified_gmt":"2023-01-03T10:02:56","slug":"ferrovial-will-build-microsoft-data-center","status":"publish","type":"new","link":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/news\/ferrovial-will-build-microsoft-data-center\/","title":{"rendered":"Ferrovial will build Microsoft&#8217;s new data center in Spain"},"content":{"rendered":"    <section class=\"wysiwyg text-editor \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n            <p>Ferrovial, through its subsidiary, Ferrovial Construcci\u00f3n, <strong>has been selected by Microsoft<\/strong> to carry out \u00a0the construction of one of the <strong>Data Centers<\/strong> that the company will develop in Spain, \u00a0within the framework of the strategic agreement signed by both companies at the beginning of the year.<\/p>\n<p>This agreement <strong>included the joint work of both companies in the digitalization<\/strong> of Ferrovial&#8217;s operations; the search for new forms of construction for the optimization of Microsoft&#8217;s data centers; and the development of innovative technological initiatives and solutions that enable sustainable development and a future of zero net emissions in the construction and <strong>infrastructure management market.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To carry it out, the strictest sustainability criteria have been followed in its design and construction, which is why it has the <strong>Leed Gold<\/strong> certification granted by the Green Building Council. In this sense, the data center is focused on achieving significant <strong>reductions in energy consumption<\/strong> and CO2 emissions in the most efficient way compared to traditional Data Centers.<\/p>\n<p>Ferrovial has extensive experience in the construction of this type of facility, <strong>having carried out projects of these characteristics<\/strong> for companies such as Telef\u00f3nica, as well as several leading financial companies, among others.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n
