Ferrovial Airports<\/a> and Eve Air Mobility<\/a>, a developer of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, services and support, and urban air traffic management (Urban ATM) software, have agreed to partner to jointly develop the safe and reliable operation of vertiports and eVTOLs. This collaboration<\/strong>, embodied in a statement of intent, reinforces Ferrovial’s commitment to urban air mobility.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a leading global infrastructure provider and operator, Ferrovial is committed to building and operating safe, efficient, and sustainable transportation infrastructure, which is why we are truly excited to announce our collaboration with Eve<\/em>,\u201d said Kevin Cox, Chief Executive Officer, Ferrovial Vertiports. \u201cEnsuring that we are utilizing an agnostic state-of-the-art Urban Air Traffic Management system will be key to achieving our goals<\/em>.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Eve Air Mobility\u2019s Urban ATM software<\/strong> is a solution that will enable the integration of all airspace users in the urban environment. It supports the safety, efficiency, and improvement of the entire UAM ecosystem, including fleet and vertiport operators. The collaboration reinforces a shared commitment to safely integration and scale global UAM operations.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis agreement represents a significant step forward and is a strong validation of Eve\u2019s Urban Air Traffic Management service offering<\/em>,\u201d said Andre Stein, co-CEO of Eve Air Mobility. \u201cEve is much more than an eVTOL manufacturer. The agreement advances Ferrovial’s positioning in the incipient Urban Air Mobility sector. Working with leading manufacturers and air service operators, Ferrovial Vertiports, backed by Ferrovial\u2019s 70 years of transportation infrastructure experience, is developing a series of agnostic vertiport networks<\/strong> in Europe and the United States. The siting, development, and operation of these networks will be to support all-electric, zero-carbon eVTOL air transport services.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n
