This year&#8217;s<strong> winner in the Tunnelling &amp; Underground category<\/strong> was <strong>Ana M\u00e9ndez, Silvertown Tunnel Senior Engineer at Cintra<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/news\/ferrovial-participates-in-the-european-women-in-construction-engineering-awards\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Ferrovial&#8217;s nominations<\/a> placed <strong>22 finalists in 15 different categories<\/strong> in this edition of the WICE awards. These recognitions are role models for women considering a career in these sectors, and they encourage companies to employ and train more women in these industries while making the engineering and construction sectors more attractive to women.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2016, Ferrovial has participated with professionals from many of its divisions: Ferrovial, Ferrovial Construction, Cadagua, Budimex, and Webber.
