The agreement has been reached via\u00a0Easternwell<\/a>, an Australian affiliate of Broadspectrum that has been carrying out perforation work in Olympic Dam for more than 11 years and has shown\u00a0excellent results in\u00a0the area\u00a0of occupational health and safety<\/a>.\u00a0The\u00a0Olympic Dam\u00a0mine\u00a0is located 560 kilometres north of Adelaide and is one of the world\u2019s largest deposits of copper, gold and uranium.<\/p>\n

Andrew Chandler, General Manager of Easternwell, expressed his satisfaction with the renewal of the contract: \u201cWe hope to be able to continue carrying out quality perforation work in Olympic Dam for the next twelve months and in the\u00a0long term.\u201d<\/p>\n

Broadspectrum\u00a0<\/b>and BHP i<\/b>n Olympic Dam<\/b><\/h3>\n

Broadspectrum,\u00a0the\u00a0Australian affiliate of\u00a0Ferrovial Servicios, renewed its contract with the BHP Billiton mining company for a period of five years<\/strong>. The agreement includes\u00a0bulk\u00a0material handling services in the Olympic Dam mine.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n
