The award is a positive contribution to a new urban planning project that will allow local communities to grow and develop.            <\/blockquote>\n\n            <footer class=\"block-quote__footer\">\n                                    <p class=\"block-quote__author\" aria-label=\"\">\n                        <span class=\"block-quote__author-name\">Richard Harris<\/span>\n                    <\/p>\n                                    <p class=\"block-quote__author-role\" aria-label=\"\">\n                        Amey Manager for Staffordshire                    <\/p>\n                            <\/footer>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"wysiwyg text-editor \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n            <h2><b>Latest contracts procured by<\/b><b>\u00a0Amey<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>The British affiliate of Ferrovial Services will\u00a0renovate\u00a0the <a title=\"Edinburgh Public Lighting Contract - Ferrovial\" href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/news\/amey-provides-public-lighting-solutions-for-edinburgh-and-inverclyde\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Edinburgh street lighting system<\/a> via the introduction of state-of-the-art LED technology. The contract will entail the replacement of 54,000 street lamps over a period of 3 years and result in energy savings for the local council of some 55 million \u20ac over the next 2 decades. The renovation will also help the city <strong>reduce its CO2 consumption<\/strong>, in line with Scottish energy efficiency legislation.<\/p>\n<p>Amey will also carry out maintenance\u00a0services\u00a0on more than 13,000 street lamps, 1000 luminous traffic signals and 600 auxiliary electrical elements stationed throughout the town of Inverclyde, in Scotland.\u00a0The contract illustrates the renewed confidence that the municipal corporation has placed in the British affiliate of Ferrovial Services.\u00a0In 2014, Amey overhauled the town\u2019s public lighting system using <strong>LED technology<\/strong> and has been responsible for maintenance of the system since then.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n
