The existing bridge that currently crosses the freeway will be demolished, while there will also be new access roads built as well as pedestrian and cycle paths.<\/p>\n

The Western Roads Upgrade project is the Australian State of Victoria\u2019s largest single investment to date in its road network, and the project will be carried out under a Public Private Partnership<\/strong> (P3) formula.<\/p>\n

Eight high-priority road-building projects and an extensive 20-year rehabilitation and maintenance program form the Western Roads Upgrade that covers more than 800 kilometers of road to the west of Melbourne.<\/p>\n

Present at the inauguration of works on this section of the project were Tim Pallas<\/strong>, Treasurer of Victoria; Jos\u00e9 Espinosa<\/strong>, CEO of Netflow<\/a>; Damien Augustinus<\/strong>, Managing Director of Plenary<\/a>; Allen Garner<\/strong>, CEO of Major Road Projects Authority; and Peter Ryan<\/strong>, Managing Director of WBHO<\/a>.<\/p>\n
