Polish subsidiary\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Budimex<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0began redevelopment of the\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Olszamowice<\/span><\/span>\u00a0station<\/span><\/span>\u00a0in November 2016 as part of the\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u201c<\/span><\/span>Modernisation<\/span><\/span>\u00a0of railway line no. 4 – Main Railway Line\u201d project.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>New tracks<\/span><\/span>,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>overhead cables<\/span><\/span>, and\u00a0<\/span><\/span>equipment for managing rail traffic<\/span><\/span>\u00a0were all part of the redevelopment of the station. As well as upgrades in these areas,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>12 new junctions<\/span><\/span>\u00a0were built at the station with moveable frog points that allow high speed transit of up to 250km\/h<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n

\n The Olszamowice railway station is a very contemporary design – it is now capable of being automatically controlled, without people being involved. It also has visual monitoring and there are automatic fire extinguishing systems in the distribution board room. <\/blockquote>\n\n
