This initiative includes specific health and wellness programs, with activities ranging from promoting exercise and healthy eating, to the abandonment of harmful activities such as smoking and alcohol consumption, and initiatives to maintain a good state of mental health.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

‘Live Well’ includes access to an Employee Assistance Program, available 24\/7, which is designed to help workers resolve problems at work that affect their living standards, wellness, safety or productivity. Employees can also sign up for a special 12-week plan to encourage exercise and can participate actively in mental health events such as ‘Mates in Construction’ and ‘Movember’, an initiative to raise awareness and funds to combat prostate cancer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Liam Brennan, Easternwell’s Wellness Coordinator, said: “We are constantly creating and improving ways to help our employees make healthy choices.” Our Wellness Committee, with strong support from our executive team, meets every six or eight weeks to discuss current health and wellness projects and future programs.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n
