The winners will be chosen by an open online vote for which the deadline is 16 November. The Ferrovial Services projects that have reached the final are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>ZITY, <\/strong>in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.enertic.org\/FAQS?param1=253&amp;param2=183\">Smart Mobility<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.enertic.org\/FAQS?param1=253&amp;param2=183\">Smart Vehicle<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Connected vehicles for municipal solid waste management <\/strong>, in the <em>Smart Vehicle<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>RFID-Enabled Wearable Technology<\/em><\/strong>, in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.enertic.org\/FAQS?param1=253&amp;param2=183\">Smart Buildings<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The winners of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.enertic.org\/FAQS?param1=253&amp;param2=183\">enerTIC Awards 2018<\/a>, decided by popular vote, will be announced on 12 December at the awards ceremony held at the Spanish government&#8217;s Secretariat of State for Digital Progress in Madrid. Created in 2013, the enerTIC awards recognize innovative technology projects by companies and organizations committed to energy efficiency and sustainability. Participation is up 58% this year, as a total of 116 projects were nominated to the Platform&#8217;s Committee of Experts. The finalists were selected on the basis of the degree of innovation involved, the usability of information and communications technology, and their impact on reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions, among other factors. All the finalists will appear in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.enertic.org\/GuiaSmartEnergy\">VII Gu\u00eda de Referencia Smart Energy: &#8220;Tecnolog\u00eda para la mejora de la Eficiencia Energ\u00e9tica&#8221;<\/a> which will be presented at the enerTIC Awards 2018 ceremony.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to vote and support candidates<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In order to vote, you must register on the enerTIC website; the process is very simple. It&#8217;s important to use a corporate e-mail address, as conventional generic mail domains are not accepted. Up to 10 votes per domain are allowed. The steps to register and vote are as follows:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Register on the enerTIC website using a corporate e-mail address. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.enertic.org\/alta_usuario\/_xiblzVGg4GeDa0_1qF55iw\">Click here to go to the registration page<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Once you are registered as a user, click on the link below to vote on the candidates. <a href=\"http:\/\/enertic.org\/Actividades\/Awards2018\/_BA9GY9vcIICY_y3NUq2UiZleJQtppdPLktvO9YQ4n5W_MCd79q_Xpg\">Click here to vote<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The deadline for voting is Friday <strong>16 November<\/strong> at 23:59.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Previous years&#8217; winners<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ferrovial Services&#8217; focus on innovation <a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/es\/noticias\/premios-enertic-eficiencia-energetica\/\">was rewarded in the previous edition of these awards<\/a>, for the development of <strong>HEFESTO<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/es\/proyectos\/software-eficiencia-energetica-hefesto\/\">software for enhancing energy efficiency <\/a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>in the company&#8217;s contracts. Other prize-winning projects in previous years included <strong>TuCiudapp<\/strong>, a channel for communication between citizens, city governments, local business and service concession companies; and <strong>Ferrovial Light for GLASS<\/strong>, which introduced the <em>Google Glass wearable<\/em>.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n
