On behalf of the Public Administration, Foreign Minister, Joseph Borrell and Mayoress, Manuel Carmena attended the event.<\/p>\n<p>The Mexican government was represented by Luis Videgaray, Mexican chancellor, Valent\u00edn Diez Morodo, the Foundation&#8217;s chairman and Mexico&#8217;s ambassador in Spain, among others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Refurbishments of the 20th century Madrilenian building<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With the refurbishments carried out by the company for 8 months, the 2,700-square-meter building located in the Madrilenian street, <strong>Alberto Aguilera<\/strong>, has been designed with different areas for <strong>expositions<\/strong>, a restaurant and a school, among others.<\/p>\n<p>Its ceilings, walls and rooms are covered with decorations from the American country which blend with the white color of the careful renovation of the building where some architectural features stand out.<\/p>\n<p>The building is comprised of three floors. On the first one, lead to by a majestic staircase, you can find the auditorium and a <strong>cinema<\/strong> with capacity for up to 60 people. Next to it, a small shop of Mexican <strong>artisanal products<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>On the other side, the library, there are more rooms and stairs that lead to the second floor where several halls where the exhibition space is, showing Mexican&#8217;s painting history.<\/p>\n<p>On the third floor a meeting room and a co-working space.
