{"id":42590,"date":"2018-11-28T14:11:36","date_gmt":"2018-11-28T13:11:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/?post_type=new&#038;p=42590"},"modified":"2024-12-13T21:42:37","modified_gmt":"2024-12-13T20:42:37","slug":"ferrovial-committed-to-the-elimination-of-violence-against-women-2018","status":"publish","type":"new","link":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/news\/ferrovial-committed-to-the-elimination-of-violence-against-women-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"Ferrovial committed to the Elimination of Violence Against Women"},"content":{"rendered":"    <section class=\"wysiwyg text-editor \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n            <p>For the <u><a href=\"http:\/\/www.un.org\/en\/events\/endviolenceday\/\">International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women<\/a><\/u> celebrated on November 25, Ferrovial has launched several efforts in response to the commitments included in the plans for equality, as well as the agreements with public administration reached in 2013, to order to promote awareness of <strong>gender-based violence <\/strong>and the <strong>integration of its victims into the work force<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In 2013, Ferrovial joined the project \u2018Businesses for a society free of gender-based violence\u2019 led by the <u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mscbs.gob.es\/en\/home.htm\">Ministry of Health, Social Issues, and Equality<\/a><\/u> to spread social awareness of <strong>equality<\/strong> between men and women and of <strong>respect for fundamental rights<\/strong>, in order to foster a society free from gender-based violence. Ferrovial\u2019s commitment provides the basis for carrying out efforts to promote awareness for the goals of this initiative, as well as efforts around the integration of those who have suffered abuse into the workforce, in which collaboration with <u><a href=\"https:\/\/fundacionintegra.org\/\">Fundaci\u00f3n Integra<\/a><\/u> stands out. This foundation works to assist the integration of the most vulnerable groups into the workforce.<\/p>\n<p>Access to employment for women that have been abused is the best bet for breaking the circle of violence in which they and their children find themselves, and for them to be able to actively participate in society again.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Resources provided by the
