Line no. 20 was opened during the night of Saturday to Sunday, 20 &#8211; 21 October. This is part of a larger project, which assumes the<b>\u00a0moderni<\/b><b>z<\/b><b>ation of the inner ring line<\/b>\u00a0in the capital city, involving the sections Warszawa\u00a0Zachodnia\u00a0&#8211; Warszawa\u00a0Gda\u0144ska\u00a0and Warszawa\u00a0Go\u0142\u0105bki\u00a0&#8211; Warszawa\u00a0Gda\u0144ska. Lines 507 and 509 are under construction.<span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Execution of this contract started in February 2017 and its completion is scheduled for 2019. The consortium has already completed construction and modernization works on line no. 20. The total value of this project is over\u00a0<b>169 million PLN<\/b>.\u00a0<span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Warszawa\u00a0Zachodnia\u00a0&#8211; Warszawa\u00a0Gda\u0144ska\u00a0Railway Line Is Ready\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>A total of 4 railway stops with shelters, at the\u00a0Ko\u0142o, Warszawa\u00a0Zachodnia,\u00a0Wola\u00a0and\u00a0M\u0142yn\u00f3w\u00a0stops, were modernized and rebuilt. The latter is particularly important because in the future it will form an important interchange connecting the railway, trams,\u00a0and the planned\u00a0M\u0142yn\u00f3w\u00a0station, the next to be built on the metro line. In addition, 3 railway overpasses were rebuilt over\u00a0Obozowa,\u00a0Kasprzaka,\u00a0and\u00a0Wolska\u00a0Streets, as well as a footbridge over\u00a0G\u00f3rczewska.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"image-section \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n        <figure class=\"image-section__figure\">\n            <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.newsroom.ferrovial.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/15152504\/budimex-via.jpg\" title=\"Budimex-Strabag-ZUE Consortium and the \"Inner Ring Line\" in Warsaw\" alt=\"Budimex-Strabag-ZUE Consortium and the \"Inner Ring Line\" in Warsaw\" class=\"image-section__image\">\n                    <\/figure>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"block-quote \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10 block-quote__body\">\n            <blockquote class=\"block-quote__text\" aria-label=\"\">\n                Reconstruction of the track systems on the routes and the traffic stations included the reconstruction of the railway switches, aimed at increasing the speed of entries and exits. They date from the Second World War and were initially to be demolished, but instead they were eventually entered the register of <strong>monuments <\/strong>by the<strong> provincial conservationist<\/strong>. Another factor influencing the completion date of the investment was the need to obtain additional consents from the City Hall concerning changes in the organization of road traffic under the new overpasses.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"image-section \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n        <figure class=\"image-section__figure\">\n            <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.newsroom.ferrovial.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/15152507\/budimex-carretera.jpg\" title=\"nature \"Inner Ring Line\" in Warsaw\" alt=\"nature \"Inner Ring Line\" in Warsaw\" class=\"image-section__image\">\n                    <\/figure>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"block-quote \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10 block-quote__body\">\n            <blockquote class=\"block-quote__text\" aria-label=\"\">\n                These are just some of the things which demonstrate the level of difficulty of this investment. As a rule, construction work carried out in the city center is organizationally complicated, because in spite of the intensive works, the city has to function efficiently for its residents. Recently the company has also completed the reconstruction of <strong>Olszamowice station<\/strong>, with the station&#8217;s technical infrastructure being modernized, including railway switches and the overhead cable system.
