The results confirm the perspectives of the building company by reaching the same terms of profitability and competitiveness as during 1998 as the rest of the major companies in the sector, after having successfully completed its process of corporate, accounting and financial correction in 1997.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, the net amount of the consolidated turnover of Agrom\u00e1n was 135,014 million pesetas, with an increase of 14.1%, against 118,366 million pesetas in the previous financial year. Contracts also evolved positively and 1998 ended at 172,000 million pesetas, 16.9% more than the 147,000 million the previous year. On 31st December the portfolio of works of the construction company came to 222,000 million pesetas, an increase of 24% on the 180,000 million pesetas of the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the net profit of the parent company in 1998 was 3,620 million pesetas, which, on the other hand, triplicated the 1,202 million pesetas, obtained the year before.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n
