The contract totals Pta 375 million and the concession will last five years.<\/p>\n<p>This contract is the first to take place between Ferrovial Servicios and the Bilbao Town Council, main shareholder of Mercabilbao, and strengthens the companys presence in the province of Vizcaya. In fact, Ferroser performs street cleaning and solid urban waste collection services in the towns of Basauri and Barakaldo. These contracts total Pta 5.3 billion and serve a population of more than 160,000 inhabitants.<\/p>\n<p>The offer of Ferrovial Servicios was technically and economically the best among those presented. Until now, cleaning and waste collection services in Mercabilbao were performed by Cespa.<\/p>\n<p>Ferroser holds the concession of street cleaning and solid urban waste collection services in another 43 municipalities, including La Coru\u00f1a, Hell\u00edn, N\u00edjar, etc., serving more than 670,000 inhabitants.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n
