In this way, it becomes the first Spanish company to be certified for the construction and operation of water treatment plants, both in Spain and abroad.<\/p>\n<p>The certificates scope includes design, construction, tuning, maintenance and operation activities in all types of treatment plants, both potable water, urban waste water, industrial waste water and sea water plants. To this end, during fourteen months, Cadagua has been implementing a quality assurance system in the more than 90 water treatment plants in which it is currently working, both in Spain and abroad.<\/p>\n<p>The development and implementation of this Quality System in Cadagua has entailed the adjustment of the requirements of ISO standard 9001 to the peculiarities of its activity, demanding the implication of the whole organization, both in design and in assembly and tuning activities in the different projects, with their own specifications.<\/p>\n<p>To this we must add the lack of previous experiences which might have served as guidelines for its implementation. In fact, Cadagua has anticipated the requirements of the market and of its clients both public and private , which are gradually starting to demand the implementation of standardized quality systems as a guarantee of performance, again reinforcing Cadaguas competitive position in the water market.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Services, private clients and foreign markets<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nAlong its 26 years of experience, Cadagua has based its expansion on its bet on state-of-the-art technology. In recent years, the company is holding three strategic lines: strengthening of its services activities, including plant maintenance and operation, private client promotion and international expansion.<\/p>\n<p>Private clients represent 15% of Cadaguas total revenues, which last year totaled Pta 12 billion. Abroad, Cadagua is carrying out, among others, the desalination plant of Dhekelia, in Cyprus; the desalination plants of Zarzis and Jerv\u00e1 in Tunisia and the SN Longos steel mill contract in Porto (Portugal).<\/p>\n<p>In Spain, among the most significant works we should highlight the second stage of the Purifying Plant of Galindo (Bilbao); the purifying plant of Crispijana (Vitoria) as well as the purifying plants of J\u00e1vea (Valencia), Lorca (Alicante), Teruel, Do\u00f1ana or the Damm Brewery plant. In addition, Cadagua will carry out the expansion of the Purifying Plant of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, one of the first to be awarded according to the German model.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n
