Ferrovial Agroman<\/a>\u00a0and Heathrow Airport Holding<\/a>\u00a0are sponsoring the Richard Rogers<\/a>\u00a0exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts<\/a>. The exhibition will run from 18th July until 13th October 2013 and explores renowned projects including Terminal 4, Barajas Airport and Terminal 5<\/a>, Heathrow.<\/p>\n

The very purpose of Ferrovial existence, as transport hub and infrastructure, construction and engineering firm, is to create those visions which so inspire the communities and societies they engage. The inevitable link between space, architecture and engineering is demonstrated by Rogers\u0092 thought-provoking exhibition and this very collaboration \u0096 the link between the extraordinary and how the extraordinary is enabled.<\/p>\n

Richard Rogers and Ferrovial <\/strong><\/p>\n

Richard Rogers has also recently participated in the Ferrovial Innovate event at the RIBA in London and the Ferrovial 60th Anniversary celebrations.<\/p>\n

In addition, Rogers\u0092 ethos and ideas are of particular interest to each of us since Ferrovial have all worked with him closely on renowned projects including Terminal 4, Barajas Airport and Terminal 5, Heathrow. \u0093My practice, Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, designed Terminal 5 at Heathrow and Terminal 4 at Barajas in Madrid and we learnt a significant amount from both builds\u0094, argued Rogers.<\/p>\n

Exhibition \u0093Richard Rogers: Inside Out\u0094<\/strong><\/p>\n

The exhibition will run from 18th July until 13th October 2013 and explores the ideas and ethos of the internationally renowned architect and urbanist Lord Rogers of Riverside. Timed to coincide with Rogers\u0092 80th birthday, the exhibition examines his social, political and cultural influences and their connection to his architecture. Previously unseen original material, drawings and personal items, present a unique insight into the thinking behind one of the world\u0092s most celebrated architects.
\nRichard Rogers RA: Inside Out\u00a0is held in Burlington Gardens, the Royal Academy\u0092s new venue for contemporary art and architecture.<\/p>\n

A series of debates, discussions and an innovative events and educational programme will support Richard Rogers RA: Inside Out. Focusing on urban design issues, contributors include leading architects, politicians and artists.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n
