This is the second project carried out by <strong>F&amp;A<\/strong> for the Italian health system, implying an investment of Pta 2 billion and a construction term of 17 months, and is part of the governments policy to provide the country with more modern and better equipped hospital infrastructures.<\/p>\n<p>The project includes the complete reconditioning of the five buildings which make up the hospital. In addition, installations and facilities will be updated and a gallery connecting all the buildings, two new emergency metal staircases and an installations machinery building will be constructed. In addition to the complexity of the project, work must be carried out keeping the hospitals daily activity operative.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Second hospital in Italy<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>In the Italian Piamonte, <strong>Ferrovial-Agroman Internacional<\/strong> has also started the construction of the Asti Hospital for Pta 7 billion. The project, which will be carried out in the next three and a half years, includes the construction of an E-shaped six storey building which will house almost 400 beds, surgery, cardiology and psychiatric wards, emergency services, etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ferrovial-Agroman Internacional<\/strong> has a works backlog only in foreign markets of Pta 90 billion and expects to close 1997 with revenues in excess of Pta 32 billion.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n
