Once the reports are unified, it will be possible to track the evolution of the companys emissions and thus ensure the effectiveness of the measures introduced.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0objective\u00a0across the company\u00a0include the following: \u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To <strong>launch the carbon footprint calculation<\/strong> procedure worldwide and have it verified by an independent source.<\/li>\n<li>To implement a strategy to <strong>reduce Ferrovial&#8217;s global carbon footprint<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>To <strong>reduce CO2 emissions by 15%<\/strong>\u00a0from the\u00a01990 reference level. In a second phase\u00a0(by 2020) this reduction will increase to 30%\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Gradual implementation of the <strong>Employee Mobility Plan<\/strong> for all structural employees,\u00a0by introducing initiatives that promote lift sharing and alternative modes of transport such as bicycles for travelling to work<\/li>\n<li>Consolidation of the <strong><a title=\"EPI\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/en-us\/sustainability\/environment\/\/SRI-Analysts\/Environmental-Performance-Data-KPIs\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Environmental Performance Index<\/strong><\/a><\/strong> (EPI)\u00a0across Ferrovial&#8217;s Services division.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reduce the quantity of waste disposed of in landfills by 56 million m3 <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ferrovial&#8217;s affliate\u00a0companies\u00a0are currently mapping and assessing\u00a0their <strong>carbon footprints<\/strong> on a world-wide basis. In particular,\u00a0the Group is\u00a0involved in accurately determining its current UK footprint so as to facilitate transparency and set\u00a0meaningful environmental objectives\u00a0over\u00a0the
