{"id":5449,"date":"2012-11-21T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2012-11-21T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/news\/csr-recognition-for-budimex\/"},"modified":"2024-12-13T22:08:17","modified_gmt":"2024-12-13T21:08:17","slug":"csr-recognition-for-budimex","status":"publish","type":"new","link":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/news\/csr-recognition-for-budimex\/","title":{"rendered":"CSR recognition for Budimex"},"content":{"rendered":"    <section class=\"wysiwyg text-editor \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n            <p>Budimex, the Polish subsidiary of <strong><a title=\"About Ferrovial Agroman\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/en\/business-lines\/construction\/about-ferrovial-agroman\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ferrovial Agroman<\/a><\/strong>, has been included in the ranking of listed companies with top ESG (<strong>Environmental<\/strong>, <strong>Social<\/strong> and <strong>Corporate Governance<\/strong>) data reporting.<\/p>\n<p>Around 75% of listed Polish companies do not publish any environmental management information, while almost 80% of issuers do not inform the market about social responsibility. In this sense, Budimex is separating itself from the competition thanks to its commitment with transparency, <strong><a title=\"Corporate Governance\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/en\/ir-shareholders\/corporate-governance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">corporate governance<\/a><\/strong>, <strong>environmental protection<\/strong> and <strong>social responsibility<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The ESG Data Analysis Index is the first project of this kind in Poland. It organizes non-financial data from all companies listed on the <a href=\"http:\/\/gpw.pl\/root_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Warsaw Stock Exchange<\/a> or the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newconnect.pl\/?page=root_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NewConnect market<\/a>, an index devoted to medium-size firms.<\/p>\n<p>More than 800 different companies were considered by the ESG index, and the final ratings have taken into account international standards for sustainable development such as the United Nations Global Compact, the OECD\u0092s Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises or the International Labour Organisations Conventions.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n
