Ferrovial Agroman UK and Ireland<\/strong> have been internationally recognised for their outstanding commitment to Health and\u00a0Safety by the British Safety Council.<\/a><\/p>\n

\"noti-ferrovial-agromanuk\"<\/a>The company has received several International Safety merit awards, for its organisations overall approach in the\u00a0country, the C435 Crossrail Farringdon contract and the A8 Dualling Belfast to Larne<\/a> project in Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n

Ferrovial Agroman UK and Ireland Managing Director Ignacio Clopes said winning the awards was a fantastic\u00a0achievement.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo be internationally recognised for our health and safety<\/strong> performance is outstanding,\u201d said Ignacio.<\/p>\n

\u201cCongratulations to our dedicated teams for the time and effort they put in each day to ensure the safety of our\u00a0workforce.\u00a0We always have to remember that we work in an industry that has one of the highest risks of injury. It is therefore\u00a0everyone\u2019s responsibility when working on site to keep health and safety at the core of every decision made\u201d, said.<\/p>\n

The British Safety Council awards are independently assessed and benchmarked on a company\u2019s health and safety
\nperformance, rewarding best practice<\/strong> and maintaining the highest standards.<\/p>\n

Ferrovial Agroman UK and Ireland Health and Safety Director Robert Hackett said health and safety will always be a core
\nvalue on every project.\u00a0\u201cThe problem with treating \u2018safety as a priority\u2019; is that priorities change depending on the person and the situation”,\u00a0said Robert.<\/p>\n

Moreover,\u00a0Ferrovial Agroman has set a new company record for the Considerate Constructors\u00a0Scheme (CCS) awards, winning seven at the 2014 presentation ceremony.<\/p>\n

The awards recognise the top 10% of sites\u2019 in the country for their exceptional standards of consideration towards
\nlocal neighbourhoods, the general public, the workforce and the environment.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Of the seven awards, the A8 road project between Belfast and Larne in Northern Ireland was the stand out, being\u00a0recognised as one of the runners-up for the Most Considerate Site of the year.<\/p>\n

Ferrovial Agroman Ireland Director Enrique\u00a0Nieto said the awards confirms the\u00a0company\u2019s dedication to continuous\u00a0improvement.\u00a0\u201cWe are very proud of this achievement,\u00a0and believe that it serves as recognition for\u00a0the hard work and determination that\u00a0Ferrovial Agroman is trying to improve the image of the construction industry<\/strong>,
