Summary video Ferrovial News \u2013 May-June 2015<\/a><\/p>\n

We present the summary video with the most important pieces of company news from the past two months.<\/em><\/p>\n

Between last May and June Ferrovial successfully bid for a number of different contracts such as the maintenance of the UK sewage system <\/a>and managing the environmental and maintenance services in the city of Trafford<\/a>, both through the subsidiary Amey. Furthermore, the construction of a section of the S7 motorway in Polan<\/a>d with the consortium made up of Budimex and Ferrovial Agroman. On the other side of the pond, Cadagua, a subsidiary managing Ferrovial\u2019s water infrastructures, was awarded the contract to create a new system of pre-treatment in the municipality of Trophy Club<\/a>. This is the subsidiary\u2019s first contract in the US.<\/p>\n

Once again Heathrow Airport has set a new record for monthly passenger numbers<\/a>, reaching 6.34 million passengers, up 1.7 on the same month in 2014.<\/p>\n

In addition, over these two months, Ferrovial has received a range of awards such as the ESIC Aster award<\/a> for its business track record, and at the Internet Day Awards 2015<\/a>, where it received recognition for its LinkedIn profile, and at the first ever LinkedIn Awards<\/a> where it was crowned for the work carried out by the company in digital communication. It was also >praised by the magazine Actualidad Econ\u00f3mica<\/em> for the Environmental Cluster <\/a>managed in Murcia by Ferrovial Services.<\/p>\n

In the area of social and environmental sustainability, as a global infrastructures operator and city services manager, Ferrovial signed the Declaration of Barcelona presented by the Green Growth Group (GCV in the Spanish acronym) within the framework of the 12th<\/sup> Carbon Expo (held in Barcelona on 25-26 May).<\/p>\n

To conclude, in June Mar\u00eda Dionis was appointed General Manager of Human Resources<\/a>, having previously held the post of Manager of Human Resources and Communications at Ferrovial Services, thereby replacing Aguirre de C\u00e1rcer in the position.<\/p>\n
