It can therefore be classified as part of <strong>the<\/strong> <strong>Circular Economy strategy in which<\/strong><strong> both organizations are involved<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Carbonizaci%C3%B3n_hidrotermal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">HTC process<\/a>\u00a0 aims to simulate <strong>a process that takes thousands of years in nature<\/strong> in just a few minutes by applying high temperatures and pressure in a liquid medium<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"image-section \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n        <figure class=\"image-section__figure\">\n            <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.newsroom.ferrovial.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/15152424\/mit-cadagua-valorizacion-de-fangos-mediante-carbonatacion-hidrotermal.jpg\" title=\"MIT collaborates with Cadagua for sludge recovery through hydrothermal carbonization\" alt=\"hydrothermal carbonization\" class=\"image-section__image\">\n                    <\/figure>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"wysiwyg text-editor \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n            <p>Among the most important highlights of this study is the creation and evaluation of a Molecular Model that <strong>will allow us to learn more about optimal operational conditions for maximizing the transformation of sludge into the byproduct that offers the greatest added value and potential market<\/strong>. The generation of bituminous products similar to the asphalt used in highway construction, for example, could generate important synergies at Ferrovial.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, Javier Arrieta, head of the <strong>R+D+i Department<\/strong> at <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cadagua.es\/sobre-nosotros\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cadagua<\/a><\/strong> visited Professor Markus Buehler&#8217;s team of researchers at MIT to conduct follow-up to the first trials and advances of the project.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of 2010, the <em>Massachusetts Institute of Technology<\/em> (MIT) and Ferrovial signed a collaboration agreement involving research geared toward developing the infrastructure of the future.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n
