The prestigious IR Magazine<\/a> included Ferrovial in its \u2018Global Top 50\u2019 ranking, which recognises the world’s best companies in investor relations. This is the second consecutive year that the company has been included in said ranking (just 50% of companies chosen in 2014 were also selected in 2015).<\/p>\n

Ferrovial is the only infrastructure management firm to feature on the world ranking, which recognises the best companies for their efforts and achievements to improve communication with shareholders and investors.<\/p>\n

Ferrovial one of two Spanish companies chosen in IR Magazine Global Top 50<\/h2>\n

By regions, the USA and Europe feature prominently in the top 50, but Asian and Latin American firms are growing in force (now representing 23% of the total). Only two Spanish firms were selected: Ferrovial and Iberdrola<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The ranking was compiled using data from an annual survey conducted by IR Magazine, in which 500 investors and analysts (buy + sell side) in 23 countries chose the best companies (out of more than 1,000 worldwide) based on the strengths and weaknesses of their IR teams, as well as the most important issues affecting investor relations in five regions: USA, Canada, Europe, Asia and Brazil.<\/p>\n

Awards Ceremony<\/h3>\n

The awards ceremony took place in New York on 17 November, during the Global IR Forum<\/a>, attended by 240 IR specialists from 26 countries, and presented by IR Magazine and the US National Investor Relations Institute (NORI). Accepting the award on Ferrovial’s behalf was Ricardo Jim\u00e9nez, Director of Investor Relations, who also gave a speech entitled “Refining and measuring effective global IR program”, on how to set up global targets for IR programmes and evaluate results.<\/p>\n

The Ferrovial Investor Relations Department was featured in the autumn edition of IR Magazine, which included an interview with Ricardo Jim\u00e9nez in which he discussed how the department works and the importance of promoting understanding.<\/p>\n

Ferrovial, the best European company in Investor Relations in the industrial sector<\/p>\n

As well as this award, the prestigious magazine also honoured Ferrovial this year as the best European company in investor relations in the industrial sector<\/a> at the IR Magazine Awards-Europe 2015
