Ferrovial has been awarded a prize from the Spanish magazine Capital for its contribution to society by revitalizing the Spanish economy this year. <\/em><\/p>\n

Capital Magazine<\/a> has awarded the businesses Ferrovial<\/a>, AENA<\/a>, Santander Bank<\/a>, Iberdrola<\/a>, Melia Hotels<\/a>, Gas Natural<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Orange<\/a>\u00a0for their contribution towards the revitalization of the Spanish economy during 2015.<\/p>\n

Other companies that make up the 19 total winners include: MyTaxi<\/a>, AXA Foundation<\/a>, Ilunion<\/a>, Peugeot<\/a>, L’Oreal<\/a>, The School of Industrial Organization<\/a>, Diageo<\/a>\u00a0and Heineken<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Awards Ceremony<\/h2>\n

The awards, which cover 19 different categories, were presented on the 26th of November in a ceremony attended by various representatives from both the business word and public administration like the President of the Community of Extremadura, Guillermo Fern\u00e1ndez Vara,\u00a0Miguel Ferre the Secretary of State for Finance and the High Commissioner for Brand Spain,\u00a0Carlos Espinosa de los Monteros as well as other important figures.<\/p>\n

Ferrovial was crowned the company that has made the greatest contribution to society, Banco Santander received an award for the most innovative banking product and Yellow Pages received a prize for its digital transformation. MyTaxi was awarded for its business initiative, AXA Foundation for their contribution to the modernization of society and Peugeot for being the most environmentally responsible company. As well as this, the prize for the Best Sustainability policies was awarded to L\u2019Or\u00e9al.<\/p>\n

According to a press release from EFECOM Alejandro Suarez, the president of Capital, praised “the daily work of recovery by companies in an environment of uncertainty.” The magazine\u00b4s president also highlighted “the task facing companies and entrepreneurs to not lose the direction of your business plan, the direction should remain unchanged and aim to contribute to the economic development of our country.”<\/p>\n <\/div>\n
