FerroNATS \u2013 the joint venture between Ferrovial Services<\/a> and NATS<\/a> will, for another year running, take part in the World ATM Congress \u2013the largest forum of the air traffic management industry which takes place at the IFEMA<\/a>, Madrid.<\/p>\n

FerroNATS<\/a> approaches its third ATM Congress with a significantly different mindset than in previous editions. It is already a well-known and respected name, with a proven track record for the quality of its operations and the determination with which they have embedded operational safety within the organisation as a basic strategic value.<\/p>\n

Half a million flights per year and 30 million passengers overseen from nine control towers make for impressive figures and are evidence of FerroNATS\u2019 importance in Spain\u2019s air traffic control sector. One out of every five flights taking off or landing in Spain is managed by FerroNATS. These figures are backed by service quality levels which are significantly higher than the average for the sector in Spain: 98.6% compliance with CTOT (calculated take-off time), and an improvement of over 11% in additional taxi-out time, to quote but a few of the most indicative results. In relation to safety, we can only highlight what has already been noted on other occasions: no category A (serious) or B (major) incidents, a runway incursion ratio 30% lower than the European average (ECAC area), and a report ratio which is two times the European average (ECAC area).<\/p>\n
